Configure and Use the Ask about Pets Screening Question Restrictor

ShowMojo can restrict prospects with pets (cats, dogs, or both) from scheduling a showing on a specific listing based on the allowable pets information on that listing.

The Ask About Pets restrictor can be added just like any other Screening Question Restrictor.

This screening question restrictor consults the pets, cats, and dogs details found on the Listings page, in the Details section, under the Lease Terms heading. When a prospect goes to schedule a showing, ShowMojo specifically looks for a No pets, No dogs or No cats set on the listing details. It then restricts scheduling based on the prospects' answers.

If you manage your listing data within ShowMojo, you just make the updates to the appropriate listing.

If ShowMojo imports your listings from a Listing Import Source System, there's one of three ways you can set these details to be available for the pets screening question restrictor.

  1. If the listing source system has specific dropdowns or checkboxes for pet information on the listing, just update those and the information should be automatically onto the ShowMojo listing During the Next Import.
  2. If your listing source system lets you set custom details (or amenities or features) on listings, then you should use custom details that match the pets-related detail you want to set on the listing. Specifically: No pets, No dogs or No cats
  3. If you prefer, you can configure ShowMojo to not import details from the listing source system, but instead set them yourself within ShowMojo.
