Each VaultLOCKS eLockbox comes with two copies of the same key that can be used to manually open both the shackle and the key compartment. 

If you have a lockbox that has run out of power, follow these steps:

1. Locate the circular rubber cover on the right side of the lockbox.
2. Open the rubber cover and insert the key.
3. While facing the lockbox keypad, turn the key up to open the shackle.
4. While facing the lockbox keypad, turn the key down to open the key compartment.

To replace the batteries on your VaultLOCKS eLockbox:

1. Open the key compartment following the steps above.
2. The battery compartment is behind the key repository panel. Pull the tab below the "VaultLOCKS" logo down and towards you to access it.
3. Replace the dead batteries with fresh ones.  VaultLOCKS eLockboxes require 4 AA batteries to function -- Lithium batteries are recommended.
4. Close the battery compartment by snapping the panel back into place.
